Aakash Arora is a first-year medical student at the Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University originally from Warner Robins, Georgia. He previously attended the University of Georgia as a foundation fellow scholar, where he received his bachelor of science degree in cellular biology and bachelor of arts degree in economics. Prior to medical school, Aakash engaged in infectious disease research surrounding influenza and RSV and oncology research at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. Aakash is passionate about assisting with public health efforts in the field of dermatology and supporting underserved populations in his local community. He is interested in pursuing pediatric dermatology after medical school. Outside of medicine, Aakash enjoys hiking, playing pickleball, and cooking new recipes each week.
